I believe that my main goal is to relate two types of spirits that obsess me: a researcher and a kind of handy arts-&-crafts person. After studying cultural history, anthropology, and semiotics, and after getting into the world of book and paper conservation and repair, and as a passionate reader too, I discovered bookbindery as one of the ways to experiment with shapes, intimate layers, and stories of things and objects that surround us in everyday life.
