Cuadernística, by Cristóbal Polo

The co-founder of Siberiana Books, a Spanish poet and writer Cristóbal Polo has recently published a literary essay Cuadernística on notes, notebooks and fragmentary writing.
The title of this book is a neologism, used by Polo, and based on Spanish word cuaderno meaning “notebook”.
The very first seed of this essay was a kind of manifesto about notes and notebooks which was intended to highlight both the taking everyday notes, and the use of (handmade) notebooks. However, the final result is an essay that goes way beyond mere admiration of analog tools of writing. It is a deep reflection on writing itself, the fragmentary flow of it, as well as the world perceived by us through its fragments and pieces. In addition to that, it is also a book about reading, offering a bunch of nice literary and artistic references for passionate readers.
Siberiana is extremely proud that most of the material of this essay was born in notebooks made by Siberiana Books.
The book is published by a prestigious publishing house Wunderkammer, based in Catalonia.
